How lenders work with Infact Systems

Why have I been refused credit?

If you're looking at this page you've probably been refused credit.

Sorry about that, it's a frustrating process but lenders are often doing it with good reason based on the information that's available to them.

Information held about you at the Big 3 CRAs (Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion) is often out of data. Infact is trying to solve this problem - if financial information is going to be used about you in lending decisions we want it to be accurate.

Infact Systems doesn't actually decide whether you get approved for credit or not so the best thing to do first is to find out exactly why the lender made the decision they did and what specific piece of information caused the decision. If we can help you do that we will.

There are many sources of information that lenders use to make decisions about whether to lend to people. Infact Systems can be one of them along with the Big 3 CRAs (Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion) and other data providers.

If a credit provider has said that Infact data was the reason you were declined and you want to understand your credit report you can request a Statutory Credit Report from us through this website. You can also ask the lender what piece of information specifically meant that they declined you – once you have that you can try to rectify the situation and we can help you do that if it’s in our power to do so.
